1. You must not use CallCleverly to
- make calls that break telemarketing, consumer protection, privacy or recording laws in the caller's or recipient's country;
- call people who asked not to be called, numbers on official do-not-call lists where they apply, or emergency numbers;
- call outside the hours allowed by law, or so often that it becomes harassment;
- impersonate another person, business or government body, or hide who is calling;
- run scams, phishing, debt collection threats, fake prizes or any fraud;
- collect payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive data by voice unless you are permitted to and handle it securely;
- spread hateful, threatening, sexual, violent or illegal content, or target children;
- influence elections or political opinions with automated calls where this is restricted;
- give medical, legal or financial advice that people rely on without a qualified human involved;
- break the security of the Service, overload it, scrape it, or resell it without our written permission.
2. You must
- tell people they are speaking with an AI and that the call is recorded wherever the law requires it;
- have a lawful basis, and consent where required, before calling people with the auto dialer or surveys;
- honour opt-out requests promptly (marking a contact as "Do not call" stops future AI calls to them);
- keep your agent instructions and knowledge accurate and honest.
3. What happens if this policy is broken
We may warn you, pause campaigns, suspend agents or close your account, depending on how serious the problem is, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Report misuse to info@callcleverly.com.
